Previous individual winner of the ERRL, Vince is one of the most experienced members of the team. Those whom have had the pleasure or displeasure of racing with him will know that he is likely to be involved in the winning move and is very hard to beat. Vince was 2nd overall in the ERRL individual competition in 2009 and was the winner of the Ipswich RC Road Race.

Andy is a very strong rider, a real break away specialist who is always is the thick of the action. In 2009 Andy mixed up his racing, as well as riding local ERRL races he competed in a number of premier calendar races and also raced on the continent.

Trev

John is without doubt the most experienced member of the team, an ex professional, he has far more wins than any other rider.

Trevor, known in the team for his awesome strength and speed, he has had a great 2009 season, capping it off with a big win on the track and became the Eastern region divisional track champion in the scratch race. A completely selfless rider, Trev is a real team player, he will always work hard for his team mates, but is also an opportunist and will often succeed in victory with a strong attacking riding style.

Lee is renowned for his fast sprint finish, an ex top level sprinter on the track and top road rider who can hold his own in breaks too. Lee is hoping for some good results in 2010, where he’s aiming to replicate some of his best race winning form.

Edgar brings a wealth of experience to the team. A very strong climber, Edgar does well when the roads go skyward. Tactically sound, a breakaway group will rarely get away without Edgar being involved.

Andy is a pure race tactician, he knows how to read a race and will often find himself in the winning move.  He’s a good climber and does well in hilly races, especially those with a hilltop finish.

Newest member of the team, after spending most of the last 10 years racing on the track, George will focus on road racing in 2010. George hopes that he can produce some good performances and help the team win the ERRL overall. A prolific winner on the track in sprint finishes, he hopes that his quick acceleration will bring him results on the road.

Piers is another rider who enjoys mixing his racing, with good results in criteriums and ERRL races in 2009, gaining his 2nd category license on the way.

Costa is a very experienced and versatile rider, equally able in criteriums, road races and on the track, he will always be involved when the racing gets tough.  A fast finisher who regularly gets in the points.

Stav

Steve is a very good climber and has had many top results in hilly road races and specialist hill climb competitions.

Stav made his comeback to competitive racing in 2005 and it was then that he re-registered the “Finchley RT” Another opportunist, Stav will bide his time before making key race moves.  Stav is in the process of structuring the team for 2010, big things are expected!

Strongman of the team, Kevin will never be far from the front, on club group rides or in races.  He’s easy to spot as his bike and kit are always in gleaming prestige condition, he puts pro’s to shame!

Johan is the joker of the team, a strong rider who talks a good race, he carefully selects his target races throughout the season, helping his team mates along the way.

Dermot

Daryl likes to mix his racing, and is competitive in the full range of race categories, he is highly consistent in all races and is a strong team player.

Dermot is yet another strong rider in the team, he uses his great strength to good effect in road race breakaways, as well as in time trials.  He was on top form in the second half of 2009, getting many top 10 places in road races and criteriums, gaining his 2nd cat license along the way.
