I started cycle more than 30 years ago. I have to share the bike with my older brother, so we always argue to decide who will ride the bike on the weekend, in the end I brought his part of the bike and that was when I started cycle seriously. I began racing in a category called. NOVATOS SPECIAl. Then moved to race in the LEAGUE. Some of the races I’d won in Colombia are: EL COLOMBIANO NATIONAL CLASSIC

ACAM CLASSIC Then destiny landed me in the UK 1989. Where I stopped cycling for many years, until I met Mr. Steve Wharton and the old Paddington club, they introduced me to the English cycling. My first race here was near to a place named Royston, I had been dropped on the first lap but I kept going and finished the race on my own. By the time I got back to the HQ every one had left, Only my brother Pacho was waiting for me. My first result here was a race where BRADLY WIGGINS had won , Steve got 2nd and I got 7th. Since then I had had some good results including 12th place overall on the MASTER TOUR OF MALLORCA. For the last years I have done the MASTER TOUR OF COLOMBIA (seven day’s race). Where I have finish 6th, 9th and 12th overall. It took me many years to understand the way of racing here and to change my Colombian way of training but thanks to the help of Mike Dawson, I make it.
